Automotive Service Technician Responsibilities • Perform work and execute repairs as outlined on repair orders accurately and efficiently in accordance with dealer and factory standards. • Test drive vehicles, test components, and systems using diagnostic tools and special equipment. • Properly diagnose and repair customer concerns correctly the first time. • Document all work performed clearly. • Communicate diagnoses and repair time frames to the Service Advisor to keep customers updated. • Communicate any additional work needed directly with the Service Advisor. • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
