Job Description: Diesel Mechanic We are hiring immediately multiple Diesel Mechanics to maintain, diagnose and repair our commercial vehicles and related equipment in our Portage, IN location. GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION Assists in maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing commercial vehicles and related equipment. Also maintains, inspects, grades, changes and repairs commercial vehicle tires to ensure an effective Tire Program. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Perform preventive maintenance on all equipment within specified Service Repair Times (SRT) • Follow established maintenance procedures and guidelines • Safety procedures are followed at all times.
