We are looking to hire a Project Superintendent for the Madison area! Stevens Construction Corp. is a commercial general contractor headquartered in Madison with self-performed trades of concrete, carpentry, and prefabricated walls; building new construction, multi-unit and mixed-use buildings. Benefits: • Company Truck with gas card and maintenance included • Company cell phone and laptop • Health/Dental/Vision Insurance • Short-Term & Long-Term Disability Insurance • Supplemental Critical Illness and Accident Insurance • 401(k) +match (Roth and Traditional options) • 4 Weeks PTO • Paid Holidays • Annual Bonus The Superintendent is responsible for all construction efforts in the field to ensure project is safely constructed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule. • Supervises all Stevens Construction personnel and subcontractors onsite to ensure work is completed accurately, safely and to our quality standards. • Develops, updates and tracks performance of construction schedule. • Maintain all jobsite paperwork: daily log, delivery tickets, field work orders, timecards, plans, specs and shop drawings, purchase orders, subcontracts, and project photos. • Manages and schedules punch list work with owner, architect, and subcontractors. • Enforces all jobsite safety requirements. • Creates a positive, professional, friendly environment onsite. • Maintains a clean and orderly jobsite. Requirements: • 10+ years' experience as a commercial new construction Project Superintendent from a general contractor or construction management firm • Multiple multi-unit, new construction projects from start to finish as the overall jobsite Superintendent • Ability to read, interpret, and edit construction schematics and documents electronically • Proficiency within Microsoft Suites and other project scheduling software • Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including but not limited to: standing or walking for long periods of time, occasionally on uneven terrain, bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing stairs, and/or lifting heavy loads of up to 50 pounds Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer
