In this Finisher role, you will apply a wide range of standard and experimental finishes to both production and prototype machined parts, ensuring full compliance with applicable military specifications. This position is assigned to first shift under a structured 4/10 schedule, running from 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Key responsibilities include: • Accurately masking and preparing surfaces, and precisely mixing epoxies and solvents to specified ratios based on weight, volume, or viscosity. • Preparing parts, assemblies, and finished products through cleaning, stripping, abrading, sanding, masking, and stenciling. • Selecting, preparing, and applying finishing materials—including paints, varnishes, and enamels—to support coating and touch‑up operations. • Monitoring and verifying product quality using established statistical process control methods and procedures. • Reading and interpreting blueprints and process documentation to develop and execute finishing processes where exact thickness tolerances are critical to product performance.
