Job Description: • Utilize the nursing process, procedures and techniques to perform various duties such as evaluating resident needs, developing individual care plans, administering nursing care, and evaluating nursing care • Supervises and directs care provided by unlicensed nursing staff in the delivery of nursing care to render general health care within scope of practice • Ensures that temperature, pulse, blood pressure and other vital sign checks including pacemakers checks are completed and recorded • Responds and reacts to emergency calls from residents. • Notifies physicians, supervisor, family or other appropriate personnel when unusual resident condition exists. • Valid LPN License • 2-4 years of related experience (Preferred) • Ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously, has ability to prioritize work and address emergencies as they may occur • Knowledge of HIPPA rules and regulations and of regulations and guidelines governing long-term care At Living Branches, a community with a 5-star CMS rating, our roots run deep!
