Unit Clerk & Resident Assistant –Full Time Join the team at SMH !! The Unit Clerk Coordinates day-to-day activities in assigned unit, communicating information to the appropriate individuals/departments along with completing administrative duties relating to the care of residents at Living Branches. Also, will provide direct resident care duties based upon the individualized care plan/support plan of each resident, including attention to the residents' personal care (hygiene, bed changes, etc.) with an extreme display of compassion. Unit Clerk Overview: • Ensures good lines of communication between Nursing/Personal Care staff, physicians, health care providers and other departments. Answers the telephones, accurately screening for information and routing phone calls appropriately. • May coordinate lab services and transportation for resident appointments outside of Living Branches facilities as needed with family. High School Diploma or GED (Required) • CPR Certified (Preferred) • Knowledge of HIPPA rules and regulations and of regulations and guidelines governing long-term care • Good communication skills and ability to effectively interact with others • Experience providing customer & personal services.
