We are is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Part-Time Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk to support our Finance team. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in a dynamic accounting environment while contributing to the accuracy and efficiency of our accounts payable operations. Duties and Responsibilities • Execute additional tasks as needed • Handle daily department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it • Maintain proper storage of invoices, checks, and other documents by organizing, logging, scanning, and filing them • Provide support during internal and external audits • Fulfill full-cycle A/P • Assist internal business partners with any customer services needs • Handle administrative tasks for the AP/Finance Department • Accurately execute daily processes and controls in a timely manner while ensuring company policies are followed • Verify, log and send checks, including facilitating special handling Requirements • Prior experience in an A/P role preferred • AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred • Working knowledge of spreadsheets and databases • Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement • Demonstrated communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds • Aligned with Bergen’s How We Work Together Principles including: Investing in People Development, Creating a Safe Environment, Treating others with Respect, Being able to work as part of a Team, Having Trust in others, Having Passion for our work and clients, having good Communication skills, and Having high Accountability for oneself and others. Benefits The expected hourly rate for this position is $22 per hour - $26 per hour
