As an Access Control Officer at a residential community, you will help manage entry points, verify authorized access, greet residents and visitors, and provide professional customer service. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat06:00 AM - 02:00 PMSun06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do: • Provide customer service to residents, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and security-related policies. • Monitor and control entry and exit at residential community access points, verify authorized access, and document visitor, vendor, and delivery activity. • Respond to incidents, resident concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures. • Conduct regular and random patrols of community grounds, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. • Prepare clear, accurate reports of access activity, incidents, observations, and actions taken, and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership. Minimum Requirements: • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
