As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control operations. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $21.79 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeTue06:00 AM - 02:00 PMWed02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, vendors, and contractors at a technology data center by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of data center buildings, access points, perimeter areas, parking locations, and other assigned areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions. • Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures. • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; communicate observations and requests for assistance to appropriate personnel. • Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs, incident documentation, and shift handoff information. Minimum Requirements: • At least one year of security-related experience is required. • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. • Customer service experience is preferred. • Access control and badge experience is preferred. • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
