Job Description As a Security Officer DoD Security Clearance Unarmed Patrol Driver in McKinney, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide professional customer service. This driving position includes operating a vehicle in accordance with Allied Universal policy while responding to security-related needs and communicating clearly with site personnel. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.17 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeWed10:00 PM - 06:00 AMThur10:00 PM - 06:00 AMFri10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSat10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of facilities, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity. • Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report access-control concerns to appropriate personnel. • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures. • Document patrol observations, incidents, and other security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Minimum Requirements: • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience. • Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance. • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
