JOB OVERVIEW Responsible for the cleanliness of guest rooms in accordance with Faena standards. Assist in allowing a sufficient quantity of vacant and clean guest rooms for sale. Clean occupied guest rooms. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies/service procedures/standards. • Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment. Use equipment only as intended. • Maintain positive guest and resident relations at all times. • Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction. • Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas. • Clean and replenish guest bedroom and bathroom areas according to established standards. • Remove trash from rooms • Organize and stock cleaning cart and organize linen closets on floors assigned. • Complete accurately, and in a timely manner, any assigned work. • Maintain cleanliness levels in all public areas of the hotel including guest hallways, housekeeping closets and Butler pantries. • Report any defects to the corresponding areas responsible for correcting these defects. PHYSICAL ABILITIES • Ability to grasp, lift, move, or push goods on cart/truck weighing up to 40 to 60 pounds. • Ability to move safely in uneven terrain or in confined spaces. • Ability to see and respond dangerous to situations. • Requires mobility. Sense of smell, taste, touch, and sound. Eye/hand coordination and manual dexterity. • Remain in stationary position for 8 or more hours throughout work shift • Ability to tolerate varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination, and air quality. • Some of the work will occur in different locations of the hotel.
