Job Description We are seeking a dynamic and organized Assistant Manager to join our team at our location in Salem, United States. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the store manager in daily operations, team leadership, and ensuring exceptional customer service. • Assist the store manager in overseeing daily operations and maintaining store standards • Lead, motivate, and train team members to deliver outstanding customer service • Manage staff scheduling and ensure appropriate coverage during all shifts • Handle cash transactions, deposits, and financial reporting accurately • Oversee inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and conducting regular counts • Resolve customer complaints and address concerns promptly and professionally • Implement and maintain visual merchandising standards • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations • Assist in meeting sales goals and implementing promotional activities • Step in for the store manager in their absence, making key decisions as needed Qualifications • Proven experience in retail or service industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members • Excellent customer service skills and a passion for creating positive customer experiences • Proficiency in cash handling, financial management, and inventory control • Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet • Proficient in using POS systems and Microsoft Office suite • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred • Knowledge of retail operations, customer service best practices, and sales techniques Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
