BAE Systems is hiring for a Senior Occupational Safety Specialist to manage safety programs at our Radford, Virginia site. In this role as a Senior Occupational Safety Specialist, you will focus on regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, and the reduction of recordable injuries. Responsibilities: • Maintain expert knowledge of OSHA regulations to ensure 100% site compliance. • Collaborate with operating units and maintenance to identify and resolve safety issues proactively. • Partner with the SHE department to drive down recordable injury rates. • Manage and disseminate knowledge on key safety programs: LO/TO, Confined Space, Hot Work, Electrical, Guarding, and DoW Regulations for Army Contractors.
