Join West Hartford Health & Rehabilitation Center as Therapeutic Recreation Director. The primary purpose of this position is to assist the Director of Therapeutic Recreation in planning, organizing, developing, and directing the overall operation of the Activity Department in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations. This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, at $23 per hour. Applicants must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and a certificate in Therapeutic Recreation from the state in which they are certified. One year of supervisory experience in a hospital, skilled nursing care facility or other related medical facility activities department is preferred.
