If you are ready to make a real impact on your own terms, we want to hear from you. About This Opportunity We are actively placing New Mexico OTs for the 2026-2027 school year. The need is for 15 hours per week. You work remotely from your own space, on a schedule built around your life, backed by strong clinical support and a team that has been placing school-based therapists for over a decade. What You’ll Do • Deliver virtual occupational therapy services to K-12 students under established IEPs • Conduct OT evaluations assessing fine motor, sensory processing, visual-motor, and functional skill development • Develop and monitor IEP goals aligned to student functional performance and classroom participation • Recommend and support environmental modifications and assistive technology to improve student access • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families on carryover strategies • Complete required documentation and progress notes within district-set timelines • Participate in IEP meetings as needed, virtually What You’ll Need Required: • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program • Active NBCOT certification (OTR) • Active license in New Mexico • Minimum one year of school-based OT experience • Reliable computer with webcam and stable high-speed internet connection • Availability Monday through Friday during standard school hours Preferred, or a Plus: • Prior telehealth or virtual service delivery experience • Experience with sensory integration, assistive technology, or handwriting programs (e.g., Handwriting Without Tears) • Experience across multiple grade levels or disability categories • Bilingual proficiency (Spanish and other languages welcome) Why join eLuma? • Cross-licensing support: eLuma covers cross-licensing fees so you can serve students in additional states at no cost to you.
