Position Overview Sales Assistant Big Bolt LLC | Bloomingdale, IL$22.00–$24.04 per hour | Full-Time | On-SiteDay shift, 8-hour shifts | Overtime available when necessary Big Bolt is looking for a Sales Assistant who enjoys working with customers, keeping track of details, and helping orders move through a manufacturing business. Working closely with the Sales Manager, you’ll support quoting, order entry, customer follow-up, and coordination with purchasing, production, and shipping. You’ll have the opportunity to learn our products and processes while building experience for future growth in sales. What the Job Involves This role includes both office work and walking between the office and production floor to coordinate order status and support timely completion. Your responsibilities will include: • Preparing and entering sales quotes and customer orders in NetSuite • Following up with customers on quotes, pricing, and order progress • Keeping customer portals, order information, and sales records current • Obtaining vendor pricing and coordinating purchase order details • Working with Sales, Quality, Purchasing, Shipping, and production teams to keep orders moving • Following up on the production floor to help expedite orders • Assisting with returns, return authorizations (RMAs), and rework • Helping resolve inventory discrepancies, material issues, and order errors • Maintaining documentation and suggesting improvements to everyday processes What We’re Looking For You should be comfortable communicating with different departments, following up when information is missing, and managing several priorities throughout the day. We’re looking for: • Two or more years of experience in sales support, customer service, order management, or a related role • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Attention to detail and dependable follow-through • Good organizational and problem-solving skills • Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word ERP experience is helpful, with NetSuite preferred. Experience in manufacturing or the fastener industry is a plus. Pay and Benefits The pay range is $22.00–$24.04 per hour, with overtime available as business needs require.
