FTE: 0.6 The Obstetrical Surgical Technician performs a variety of direct and indirect patient care tasks under the direction of R.N including but not limited to vital signs, assistance with personal care, surgical scrub and prep. Implements and plans equipment/instruments for patient care procedures. Education/Training: High School diploma or equivalent. Knowledge of medical terminology. Able to read, write and communicate in English. Completion of Certified Surgical Technician program. Experience: One year prior experience as PCA or Scrub Tech preferred.
