Pharmacy Technician (Admixture) Are you passionate about patient care and ready to make a difference in the lives of those battling cancer? Ironwood Cancer & Research Centers is looking for an experienced Pharmacy Technician (Admixture) to join our team in our Gilbert location. • What You’ll Do: • Prepare and compound medications, including IV admixtures and chemotherapy, under supervision • Review medication orders for accuracy, completeness, and authorization • Verify insurance approvals before preparing medications • Accurately calculate dosages and conversions (metric/apothecary systems) • Maintain inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stocking medications • Keep detailed logs (temperature, controlled substances, protocol drugs, etc.) • Ensure compliance with OSHA and safety guidelines for medication handling and disposal • Clean and maintain sterile compounding environments (hoods, equipment) • Stay current with new medications and protocols • Travel between locations as needed What We’re Looking For: • 2+ years of pharmacy experience, including sterile compounding (IV admixture and/or chemotherapy) • Strong knowledge of aseptic technique and pharmaceutical terminology • Solid math and dosage calculation skills • Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety • Ability to interpret prescriptions and follow protocols accurately • Excellent communication and teamwork skills • Oncology experience • Pharmacy Technician certification (PTCB preferred) • Experience with inventory control, purchasing, and dispensing systems • Retail pharmacy experience (a plus) • Completion of an accredited Pharmacy Technician training program Why Join Us? • We are the largest patient-focused cancer provider in the valley! • Make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients facing cancer and other conditions • Enjoy a collaborative, respectful, and growth-focused work environment • Access to full health benefits and retirement plans • Must be willing to travel to other Ironwood locations • Equal Opportunity Employer Ready to make a difference? • Apply today and become a vital part of a team that’s changing lives—one patient at a time. • Learn more at www.ironwoodcrc.com
