Position Summary
Can/Am is looking for a Project Manager to lead Teller implementations for city and county governments from contract signature to go-live. You will run several projects at once, turn each into a clear plan with owners and dates, and keep clients, our team and outside vendors moving together.
We are continuing to experience growth as a company in terms of clients, size of clients, and offerings. Your work makes that growth successful: on time, on budget, and with clients who recommend Teller to their peers.
You will report to the Director of Implementations. The role is hybrid in Denver, Colorado, with one to two client-site trips a month.
Qualifications
You are an organized, steady communicator who is comfortable having direct conversations about scope, timeline and budget.
• Knowledge: how software implementations run from kickoff to go-live, including scope, change requests and budgets.
• Experience: 3+ years managing software or IT implementation projects for external clients, several at a time.
• Abilities: break large projects into owned, dated tasks; run meetings that end in decisions; raise scope and timeline issues with clients early; travel one to two times a month.
• Skills: experience using a project management tool such as Jira or Smartsheet; clear written plans and status reports.
• Nice to have (not required): government clients, PMP or similar certification, milestone billing.
What you will be doing
• Plan each implementation: scope, tasks, owners, timelines and billing milestones.
• Run client and internal status meetings and keep project status current.
• Manage scope changes through written change requests.
• Track estimated against actual hours and flag variances before they become overruns.
• Coordinate implementation specialists, developers and third-party vendors.
• Manage billing milestones and resolve invoice questions with clients.
• Create and add change requests to the project timeline.
• Lead cutover and a clean handoff to Support after go-live.
What you will receive
• A challenging, fulfilling career with co-workers who interact within the framework of our values as a small, vibrant team
• A competitive pay scale (Starting at $110,000 annual base)
• Generous benefits
• Health
• Dental
• Vision
• Life
• 401K
• PTO
• The opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our team and clients
If you are qualified for this position and have a passion for turning complex projects into clear plans and seeing every one through to go-live, we would love to hear from you!
