LEAD ESTHETICIAN The Lead Esthetician is responsible for leading, training, and supporting the esthetics team while ensuring the highest standards of treatment quality, customer service, professionalism, and client satisfaction. This role combines hands-on esthetic services with team leadership, staff development, and daily operational support. Key Responsibilities 1. Team Leadership & Training * Lead, mentor, and support the esthetics team. * Train new estheticians on treatment protocols, products, equipment, and company standards. * Provide ongoing education and guidance to improve treatment quality and performance. * Ensure team members follow established procedures and maintain professional standards. * Support staff with questions, challenges, and treatment-related concerns. 2. Treatment Quality & Protocol Compliance * Ensure all treatments are performed according to company protocols and established safety standards. * Monitor treatment quality and consistency across the team. * Ensure proper sanitation, hygiene, equipment handling, and treatment room preparation. * Stay informed about skincare products, treatments, and industry best practices. * Assist with client consultations and treatment recommendations within the scope of licensure. 3. Client Experience & Customer Service * Ensure every client receives an exceptional, personalized spa experience. * Address client questions and treatment concerns professionally. * Assist with resolving client complaints and escalating issues to management when necessary. * Promote client retention through excellent service, education, and appropriate follow-up recommendations. 4. Sales & Product Knowledge * Educate the team on skincare products, treatment benefits, and recommended home-care routines. * Support the team in recommending appropriate treatments, packages, and retail products. * Help improve treatment conversion rates, package sales, and client retention. * Collaborate with the sales team to ensure consistent communication and a seamless client experience. 5. Daily Operations * Assist management with daily spa operations and team coordination. * Ensure treatment rooms, equipment, and supplies are properly maintained. * Monitor adherence to scheduling, service standards, and operational procedures. * Communicate staffing needs, training opportunities, and operational concerns to management. Qualifications * Valid esthetician license in the state of employment, as required by law. * Previous experience in esthetics, skincare, or medical spa environments. * Previous leadership or training experience preferred. * Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. * Excellent customer service and product knowledge. * Ability to motivate, coach, and support a team. * Professional attitude, strong attention to detail, and commitment to high-quality service.
