Preschool Teacher Join our Early Childhood Community! Carter Center For Children, is a full year, non-profit community based childcare center. We are proudly moving into our 43rd year of serving families in Needham. We are currently seeking a qualified/certified teachers to teach, nurture and play in our preschool classrooms. You will have the opportunity to work with a team of dedicated and experienced co-teachers. Everyday you will have the opportunity to fulfill your vocation of working with young children. Our children are diverse, joyful and active learners. We are a play-based center with an emphasis on supporting children in their social-emotional development. Our goal is to prepare and guide them in social and cognitive endeavors in the present with a pathway towards their future. Key Responsibilities: • Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum. • Recognize and support children's individuality and temperament. • Observe all rules and regulations pertaining to the health, safety and care of children. • Collaborate with team members on maintaining a well-kept classroom that encourages creativity, exploration and decision making by children. • Observation and assessment of children. • Adhere and maintain EEC regulations.
