Candidates must hold a Cheyenne registered apprentice license, or be willing to obtain. As an HVAC Apprentice at Marv’s Plumbing & Heating, you will assist experienced HVAC technicians with installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. This entry-level position provides hands-on training and experience to develop the technical knowledge and practical skills necessary to advance in the HVAC trade. This position is ideal for individuals looking to start a career in the HVAC trade. Benefits Include: • 100% paid insurance premiums on medical, dental, and vision • 401k & Roth 401k plans with up to a 4% company match • 100% paid long-term disability insurance • Paid life insurance plan • 2 floating holidays • 6 paid holidays • Vacation pay • Paid weekly Responsibilities Include: • Assist HVAC technicians with the installation, maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of residential and/or commercial HVAC systems • Learn to identify HVAC system components and understand their functions, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, thermostats, and ventilation equipment • Assist with diagnosing equipment issues and identifying appropriate repair or replacement solutions under the direction of an experienced technician • Perform basic maintenance tasks, including replacing filters, cleaning equipment, inspecting components, and maintaining work areas • Safely use and maintain hand tools, power tools, meters, and other equipment appropriate to the job • Assist with equipment installations, including handling materials, preparing work areas, connecting components, and cleaning up job sites • Other duties as assigned Requirements • Previous HVAC, mechanical, construction, or trade-related experience is preferred but not required • Cheyenne registered apprentice license, or be willingness to obtain • Willingness to learn HVAC systems, tools, equipment, and industry practices • Strong work ethic, dependability, and willingness to take direction • Good problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks and collaboratively as part of a team • Attention to detail • Neat and clean presentation • Great work ethic • Valid driver's license • Must meet company motor vehicle record (MVR) eligibility requirements
