Join L.L.Bean as an Associate Retail Inventory Allocator and help ensure the right products are in the right stores at the right time. In this role, you’ll use inventory systems, reporting, and insights from cross-functional partners to maintain effective SKU and store inventory levels, support sales forecasts, and manage products throughout their lifecycle. You’ll build your analytical and allocation expertise while contributing independently, learning from experienced teammates, and helping advance our inventory strategy. ***This role is located in beautiful Freeport, Maine and a minimum of 4 days per week in the office is required. What you’ll do: • Manages part of the business employing approved processes, controls and reporting; assigned product categories with low to medium complexity. • Demonstrates understanding and appropriate use of Fulfillment Replenishment and Dynamic Allocations functionality, supporting the store order construct. • Supports and understands retail inventory strategies and successfully learns to interpret Merchandising and Visual intent. • Maintains accuracy in Replenishment, New to Floor, and New Store Fit-Up orders for assigned category. • Drives the identification of patterns and relationships in data to break through high level of detail. Maintains an objective view of findings; formulates conclusions and summarizes clearly. • Demonstrates a proactive approach to identifying & managing business trends versus reacting to issues. • Supports department leadership and collaborates with cross-functional team members to ensure channel deliverables are met. • Prioritizes and implements the day-to-day execution of assigned tasks and responsibilities. • Understands and participates in change as needed to achieve financial and business goals. About you: • BA/BS required • Strong analytical skills • Proven problem solving and decision-making skills • Strong Excel and systems aptitude – BlueYonder exposure a plus • Demonstrates ability to work in a systematic and organized approach • Strong attention to detail; works in a precise, methodical manner • Ability to develop and utilize guidelines, processes, and tools for success • Ability to prioritize and manage a workload delivering quality deliverables within tight timelines • Strong interpersonal skills, team player, and results-oriented • Strong Communicator • Engaged, self-motivated with a positive presence • Resilient and able to effectively navigate ambiguous situations • Seeks out diverse thinking and many voices to problem solve • Strives to continuously learn, grow, and develop, and help others L.L.Bean uses a market-based compensation approach. The anticipated starting base pay for this position is $54,600.00 - $68,300.00. Individual compensation may vary based on factors such as a candidate’s experience, qualifications, education, geographic location, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role.
