Job Description: As a Travel Plaza Cashier at Onvo, you will be providing excellent customer service and efficiently processing transactions for fuel, convenience store items, and food service. Responsibilities * Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, efficient service. * Operate a cash register and POS system to accurately process sales transactions, including cash, credit/debit cards, and other payment methods. * Handle cash responsibly, ensuring accurate change and proper reconciliation at the beginning and end of shifts. * Assist customers with inquiries, locate products, and provide information about promotions or services. * Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including stocking shelves and rotating merchandise. * Monitor fuel pumps and assist customers with fueling needs as required. * Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to age-restricted sales (e.g., tobacco, alcohol, lottery). * Resolve customer complaints or escalate issues to management as needed. * Perform basic cleaning duties within the store and restock merchandise. * Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction. Qualifications * Previous cash handling or customer service experience a plus. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. * Basic mathematical skills for cash handling. * Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds. * Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. * Must be at least 18 years of age due to requirements for selling age-restricted products. * A positive attitude and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
