Job Summary Processes quality products safely and efficiently by setting up, operating and performing simple programming of a press brake. • 1st Shift Hours: 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., with availability to work overtime as needed. Job Responsibilities • Equipment Preparation: Prepare production equipment for operation by making necessary setup adjustments and assisting with equipment changeovers. • Quality Assurance: Maintain quality standards and customer specifications by conducting first-piece and in-process inspections, completing production control charts, analyzing data, and making equipment adjustments as needed • Training: Assist in training others for production job responsibilities by demonstrating operational procedures and best practices. • Machine Operation: Solve production process problems, make equipment adjustments, and report production and quality data. Communicate decisions made and refer questions to the supervisor as necessary • Operational Maintenance: Follow policies and procedures to maintain production operations, including managing equipment, raw materials, in-process materials, and finished goods. Report needed changes • Preventative Maintenance: Ensure the proper operation of equipment by adhering to preventative maintenance policies and procedures.
