Consistent with this approach, we hire the best qualified candidates for all positions. About the Opportunity Edelman is looking for a Vice President, Client Service – Digital & Social to join our team, supporting a major client in the healthcare and wellness sector. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced, solutions-oriented leader who knows how to build trusted client relationships, navigate complex challenges, and bring together the right people and ideas to deliver exceptional work. In this role, you'll lead senior client relationships and oversee integrated communications programs that connect social, digital, creative, and earned media. You'll play a critical role in understanding your client's business, anticipating their needs, and translating challenges into smart, actionable solutions. We're looking for someone who is deeply fluent in social and digital communications, understands how these channels shape brand relevance and reputation, and can confidently guide both clients and internal teams. You don't need to be the person developing every social strategy, but you should know what great work looks like, ask the right questions, and bring a strong perspective on how to drive results. Who You Are You're a proactive, solutions-oriented client leader who thrives on building relationships, solving problems, and making great work happen. You bring sound judgment, strong business acumen, and the ability to navigate complex client organizations with confidence and diplomacy. You understand the evolving social and digital landscape and how it connects to broader business and communications objectives. You're comfortable leading senior-level conversations, challenging thinking constructively, and collaborating across disciplines to turn ideas into action. Above all, you're someone who anticipates what's next, takes ownership, and brings a thoughtful, collaborative approach to everything you do. What You'll Do • Lead and strengthen senior client relationships, serving as a trusted day-to-day advisor who understands client priorities, anticipates needs, and provides proactive, solutions-oriented counsel. • Own the delivery of integrated communications programs, overseeing multiple workstreams and ensuring teams deliver thoughtful, high-quality work that meets client objectives, timelines, and budgets. • Bring strong social and digital fluency to client conversations, helping connect platform strategy, content, creators, paid media, and emerging trends to broader business and reputation goals. • Turn challenges into opportunities, navigating complex situations, identifying solutions, and mobilizing the right internal expertise to move work forward. • Connect teams and capabilities across social strategy, creative, influencer, paid media, analytics, and earned communications to deliver cohesive, insight-driven programs. • Drive account growth and innovation by identifying evolving client needs, bringing forward new ideas, and connecting Edelman's capabilities to opportunities for expanded partnerships. • Provide strategic and operational leadership, managing priorities, resources, and stakeholder expectations while maintaining strong standards for client service and execution. • Mentor and inspire team members, creating an environment of accountability, collaboration, curiosity, and continuous development. Basic Qualifications • At least 8 years of relevant experience in client service, digital marketing, social media, communications, or related fields. • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. Preferred Qualifications • Experience leading complex client relationships and integrated communications programs for major consumer or corporate brands. • Strong understanding of social and digital communications, including platform strategy, content, influencer marketing, paid social, and performance measurement. • Demonstrated ability to anticipate client needs, navigate challenges, and develop practical, strategic solutions. • Experience advising senior-level stakeholders and building trusted relationships across complex organizations. • Ability to translate business objectives into actionable integrated communications programs, partnering effectively with strategy and specialist teams. • Experience collaborating across creative, social, digital, paid media, analytics, and earned communications disciplines. • Strong operational and people leadership skills, with experience managing multiple workstreams, mentoring teams, and driving accountability. • Interest in healthcare, wellness, and consumer behavior is a plus; previous healthcare or pharmaceutical experience is not required. Grow Your Career at Edelman At Edelman, we believe boldness is possibility, empathy is progress, and curiosity is momentum. You'll have the opportunity to collaborate with talented colleagues across disciplines, help solve complex business challenges, and lead communications programs that build trust and create meaningful impact. We value diverse perspectives, curiosity, collaboration, and a shared commitment to delivering exceptional work for our clients. #LI-KW1 $105,000-$160,000 a year An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs.
