Position Details: Registered Nurse (RN) - Pre Procedure Phase II Hours: 10am - 10:30pm, .9 FTE (36 hours per week) 1 major or 1 minor holiday Overview: The Ambulatory Surgery Unit, or ASU, is located on the ground floor of the main hospital adjacent to the Operating Room (OR) and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). It consists of a 28- bed surgery prep unit and a 32-bed outpatient unit for pre and postoperative care for pediatric patients and adult postoperative care. Why Work at Mercy? Qualifications: Required: • Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program • Licensure: Current RN license in the state of practice • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of RN experience • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association • Other Skills: Strong clinical skills, effective communication, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Preferred: • Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) • Certifications: ACLS and PALS Ready to Apply?
