In this role, you'll partner with the General Manager to deliver exceptional guest experiences, develop a high-performing team, drive sales, and ensure operational excellence every day. Responsibilities What You'll Do As the Assistant General Manager, you will play a key leadership role in the restaurant by: • Supporting the General Manager in all day-to-day restaurant operations • Leading shifts while ensuring outstanding guest service, food quality, and cleanliness • Recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and developing team members • Coaching and mentoring Shift Managers and Crew Members to achieve performance goals • Driving sales, labor, food cost, and profitability through strong operational execution • Managing schedules to support business needs while controlling labor costs • Maintaining inventory, ordering, and food safety standards • Ensuring compliance with Wendy's operating procedures, health regulations, and company policies • Handling guest concerns professionally and creating positive guest experiences • Building a positive, respectful, and accountable team culture • Stepping in to lead the restaurant whenever the General Manager is away Qualifications What We're Looking For • 2+ years of restaurant management experience in a high-volume quick service or fast casual environment • Previous General Manager or Assistant General Manager experience preferred • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills • Experience managing labor, food cost, and restaurant financial performance • Ability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays • High School Diploma or GED required • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required Why Join Wendy's? • Competitive salary • Performance bonus opportunities • Medical, Dental & Vision benefits • Paid Time Off • 401(k) with company match (where applicable) • Meal discounts • Ongoing leadership development and training • Opportunity to work for one of the world's most recognized restaurant brands If you're ready to lead a team, make an impact, and grow your career with Wendy's, we'd love to hear from you.
