Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.32 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeTue07:00 AM - 03:00 PMWed07:00 AM - 03:00 PMThur07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You'll Do: • Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and clients while carrying out site-specific procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. • Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and document visitor, resident, and contractor activity in accordance with location procedures. • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating observations to appropriate personnel. • Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, surrounding grounds, and perimeter to identify and report security-related concerns, hazards, and policy violations. • Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and location requirements. Minimum Requirements: • Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License. • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
