Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.87 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeFri01:00 PM - 07:00 PMSat01:00 PM - 07:00 PMSun01:00 PM - 07:00 PM What You'll Do: • Provide customer service to staff, visitors, vendors, and authorized personnel at a healthcare medical examiner location by following site-specific procedures and access protocols. • Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, maintain visitor logs, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity to appropriate personnel. • Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following established emergency response procedures. • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned interior and exterior areas, including entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. • Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and communicate observations, hazards, and policy violations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision. Minimum Requirements: • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience. • A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred. • Loss prevention experience is preferred. • A guard card or license is preferred. • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
