Full description

We are seeking an experienced Workday Financials Business Analyst to support an enterprise Workday environment. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on Workday knowledge, excellent business analysis skills, and experience coordinating application changes, integrations, production deployments, and audit activities. This role will work closely with Product Owners, developers, and business stakeholders to ensure requirements are properly documented, changes are successfully deployed, and day-to-day activities are effectively coordinated. Key Responsibilities • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements in collaboration with Product Owners and business stakeholders. • Coordinate daily stand-up meetings and manage Scrum boards to track activities, priorities, and deliverables. • Manage and coordinate the migration of Workday changes and packages between tenants and into production. • Support new Workday integrations and modifications to existing integrations. • Execute and monitor Workday integrations when required, providing basic backup support to developers. • Coordinate communications related to system changes, releases, and production deployments. • Gather and organize documentation required for internal and external audits. • Track audit-related activities and ensure supporting documentation is available and accurate. • Collaborate with technical and functional teams to resolve issues and ensure timely delivery of changes. • Support ongoing process improvements and operational coordination within the Workday team. Required Qualifications • Strong hands-on experience with Workday, preferably within the Workday Financial Management module. • Proven experience as a Business Analyst supporting enterprise applications. • Experience gathering business requirements and working directly with Product Owners and technical teams. • Understanding of Workday tenant environments, change migrations, and production deployment processes. • Working knowledge of Workday integrations, including the ability to execute integrations and understand basic integration workflows. • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, including stand-ups and backlog or Scrum board management. • Strong organizational, analytical, documentation, and communication skills. • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and coordinate multiple activities. • Ability to collaborate effectively with US-based stakeholders during Eastern Time business hours. Preferred Qualifications • Experience supporting Workday Financial Management implementations or ongoing enhancements. • Experience coordinating software releases and production deployments. • Familiarity with audit processes, compliance documentation, and evidence collection. • Experience supporting integration changes and working alongside Workday developers. • Previous experience in financial services or other regulated enterprise environments. Additional Information • This is a remote, nearshore contract opportunity for candidates based in Brazil, Colombia, or Argentina. • Candidates must be available to work 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM US Eastern Time. • The initial contract duration is 12 months. • Workday certification is not mandatory; practical Workday knowledge and relevant hands-on experience are essential. • The position focuses on business analysis, release coordination, integration awareness, and operational support rather than hands-on Workday configuration or development.
