What You Will Be Doing: The YES Lead Field Service Tech is responsible for overseeing Field Service Technician’s performance and inspecting repairs to ensure conformity to company standards. Primary Responsibilities: • Monitor Technicians during repair activities to ensure adherence to ethics and safety procedures • Oversee Technicians and communicate goals • Ensure Technicians have the resources needed for completion of job • Organize and delegate daily repair tasks • Interact with Service coordinator to provide feedback to the management group • Ensure that all repairs meet quality standards • Represent and advocate for team needs • Motivate Techs to accomplish goals • Other duties as assigned and qualified Additional Responsibilities: • Participate in required safety program, and work in a safe manner • Complete additional tasks as assigned by management Who We Are Looking For: To be successful in this position you should have prior experience in sales with strong leadership skills, a competitive nature and initiative. This position also requires someone who enjoys talking to people, developing relationships with customers and working in a team environment. Education/Experience: • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent experience • At least 2 years of technical experience • 2 years’ experience in the industry is acceptable Required Qualifications/Skills: • Leadership • Problem solving • Communication • YES Manufacturing knowledge/experience of product • Attention to detail • Adaptability • Technical skills • Conflict resolution • Decision making • Measurement skills License, Certifications, or Training Requirements: • Must complete Yancey and Industry Safety Training Requirements • Technical training • Leadership training • Must have a qualified driving record • Defensive driver training • Employee may be required to submit to customer security requirements including but not limited to additional background checks, drug tests, and provide additional identification. Physical Demands/Environmental Conditions: • Occasionally pushing/pulling, reaching (both above and below shoulder), bending/twisting, walking, standing • Occasionally Lift/Carry/Lower 1 – 50 Lbs., seldom Lift/Carry/Lower 50 – 75 Lbs., never Lift/Carry/Lower +75 Lbs. • Must be able to travel to job sites in state and out of state. • Field Service: May be subject to extreme weather conditions including but not limited to extreme heat, cold, rain, snow, and ice. Equipment, tools and job site may be very loud requiring hearing protection. Environment may include vibrations, strong odors, moving mechanical parts, exposure to electrical shock, flammable liquids and gases, oils and solvents, working on platforms or equipment over 4 feet from the ground. Appropriate PPE maybe required and mandated by Yancey Bros. Co. or the customer. Values: At Yancey Bros.
