Piper Companies is currently looking for a Manufacturing Process Technician I in the Howard County, MD area to work a fully onsite role. This Manufacturing Process Technician I will join a will join a global organization focused on advancing innovative solutions within a highly regulated industry. Responsibilities for the Manufacturing Process Technician I: • Execute manufacturing activities in a GMP-regulated cleanroom environment, including aseptic processing, cell culture, filtration, purification, and fill-finish support. • Prepare, sterilize, stage, and manage materials, consumables, and equipment required for production operations. • Perform equipment setup, cleaning, sanitization, maintenance, and monitoring activities to ensure operational readiness and compliance. • Complete and review batch records, production documentation, and quality system records in accordance with SOPs and regulatory requirements. • Support inventory management, sample submission, waste handling, and cross-functional manufacturing initiatives to maintain efficient and compliant operations. Qualifications for the Manufacturing Process Technician I: • Ability to work in controlled manufacturing environments, including ISO Class 5 and ISO Class 6 cleanrooms while adhering to gowning requirements. • Capable of independently performing a substantial portion of manufacturing operations with limited oversight while maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards. • Hands-on experience with several of the following bioprocessing activities: • Cell culture operations • Upstream manufacturing processes • Harvest preparation and execution • Cell culture supernatant purification • Viral filtration and removal procedures • Filter integrity testing, filter cleaning/sanitization, and filter purification • Education requirements: • High School Diploma and certification through accredited biotechnology instruction and 2+ years relevant experience • AA Degree in a related field and 1+ years relevant experience • BS/BA Degree in a related field Compensation for the Manufacturing Process Technician I: • Hourly Rate: $27-30/hr based on professional experience • Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and Sick Leave as required by law Keywords: Manufacturing Associate, Senior Manufacturing Associate, Manufacturing Technician, Bioprocess Technician, Process Technician, Bioprocess Associate, Production Associate, GMP Manufacturing Associate, Cell Culture Technician, Upstream Manufacturing Associate, Downstream Manufacturing Associate, Fill-Finish Technician, Aseptic Manufacturing Technician, Biologics Manufacturing Associate, Process Operations Technician, Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Technician, Manufacturing Specialist. #LI-EM1 #LI-ONSITE
