Responsibilities ECS Limited is seeking an experienced engineering leader to establish and manage our Morgantown satellite office. As the Group Manager, you will oversee engineering projects, staff, business development, and day-to-day operations for the branch. Responsibilities: • Requires a commitment to lead and mentor a team of geotechnical and construction materials engineers and project managers • Oversee and manage all laboratory operations • Oversee projects and perform technical report reviews, prepare proposals and management of the departments and group related P&L • Assist other staff in marketing our services by maintaining and developing client interactions • Interact with senior staff members and mentor junior staff members • Assist with recruiting and maintaining an adequate staff level in your group #LI-AS1 Qualifications Required Qualifications • 8 years of related experience • Bachelor of Science or Master of Science in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited college/university • If driving for, or on behalf of, any ECS subsidiary, a valid driver’s license is required • Proficient with geotechnical principles and applications • Have practical experience in conducting laboratory testing, construction observation, and field quality assurance testing • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Strong project management and marketing skills • Must possess leadership qualifications and be business development oriented Military Qualifications • The following US Military ranks will qualify for this position IF they also meet the education, certification, and licenses requirements from the above section titled "Required Qualifications": • E-6/E-7/O-2/O-3 About Us ECS Group of Companies (ECS) was founded in 1988 with the goal to raise the standards of professional engineering consulting.
