Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $19.85 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeWed11:00 PM - 07:00 AMThur11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do: • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out screening procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government location. • Screen persons and permitted items entering the facility using assigned screening equipment and established protocols; communicate prohibited-item findings or access concerns to appropriate personnel. • Verify identification, visitor authorization, and access credentials in accordance with site procedures; maintain orderly entry processes and direct visitors to appropriate locations. • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and complete required reports. • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and the facility perimeter to identify and report security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements: • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located. • Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or 5 years of security-related experience, or a college degree. • Customer service experience is preferred. • Guard card is required. • A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred. • A guard card or license is preferred. • Be at least 21+ years of age for role. • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
