Full description

About Coral Care We're building the marketplace for local care. Today, care that should come to you is stuck inside clinics, agencies, and schools. Families wait months. Great clinicians are boxed into schedules and systems that cap how many people they can help. Coral Care connects the two directly, so licensed providers can build thriving practices in their own communities, and families get care that comes to them. We started with pediatric speech, occupational, and physical therapy because it's where the need is urgent and the system is most broken. Here's what we're building toward: • An economy for clinicians. Coral Care handles insurance, scheduling, billing, and patient demand, so providers can focus on care and grow on their own terms. • Care that comes to you. In person, local, and personal, the way care should feel. • A platform, not a single service. More of the care families need, more ways to pay for it, and over time, care that grows with families at every stage of life. We're a team of about 20 at our NYC HQ, backed by a $13M Series A and founded by a mom who lived this problem firsthand. If you want a front-row seat to building a category, this is it. The role You'll work directly with our CEO and Founder, Jen Wirt, as her right hand. It's a rare seat for someone early in their career who wants to learn how a venture-backed startup is built from the inside. The job splits in two, and both halves matter: • About 70%: projects. You'll own cross-functional work end to end, from first draft to done. • About 30%: CEO and office support. You'll keep Jen's week running and our NYC office working well. The support work isn't extra. It's how you'll see everything the CEO sees, and it's the fastest way to earn bigger projects. What you'll do Projects (about 70%) • Run the operating rhythm: prepare our weekly leadership working session, track decisions and follow-ups, and make sure owners close them • Collect and check weekly metrics from team leads ahead of our Monday metrics meeting • Own special projects for Jen, such as launching a local partnership program, building an investor update, or researching a new market • Turn messy problems into clear one-pagers, trackers, and plans • Use AI tools to automate repetitive work so the team spends time on what matters CEO and office support (about 30%) • Manage Jen's calendar, scheduling, and meeting prep • Help triage email and keep priorities from slipping through the cracks • Coordinate travel, events, board and investor meeting logistics • Run the NYC office: vendors, supplies, guests, and new hire setup • Plan team moments, such as offsites, holiday gifts, and celebrations Who you are You have: • 0 to 3 years of experience in operations, consulting, banking, a startup, or a similar fast-paced role • Strong organization: you track many threads and close every loop • Clear, concise writing • Comfort with data and AI tools • Good judgment with confidential information • Real enthusiasm for the support work, not only the projects Bonus points: • You've worked at an early-stage startup • You're fluent with AI tools and like building workflows • You care about healthcare access for kids and families Details • Reports to: Jen Wirt, CEO and Founder • Location: In person at our NYC office, 370 Lexington Ave • Type: Full time • Salary: $75,000 to $90,000, plus equity and benefits This role is based in New York City. Coral Care does not sponsor visas, so candidates must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
