As a Retail Sales Clerk, you will contribute to the department's service-focused mission by providing superior customer service to the public. Daily responsibilities include: • Customer Engagement: Greet and assist customers in finding products, making selections, and sharing product knowledge. • Compliance Safety: Strictly verify IDs to ensure all sales are made only to customers 21 and over, screen for intoxication, and maintain situational awareness for loss prevention. • Point of Sale: Process transactions accurately at a cash register, handle cash and card payments, give correct change, and balance the till at the end of a shift. • Inventory Order Fulfillment: Assist in receiving, inspecting, storing, and displaying merchandise. Fill wholesale liquor orders for clubs, restaurants, and hotels as required. • Store Operations: Maintain the facility in a clean, orderly, and safe condition (including occasional light maintenance like clearing sidewalks). Assist with inventory spot-checks and help support store operations during peak times or in the absence of management.
