At Senior Helpers Eastside, we empower seniors to age safely and with dignity in the comfort of their own homes. We are a Great Place to Work® Certified organization that values autonomy, trust, and collaboration.
We are looking for an exceptional Healthcare Office and Care Manager to lead daily operations, mentor our caregiving team, and ensure local families receive world-class care and peace of mind. If you are a proactive, organized problem-solver who wants your work to make a real difference - and help shape the growth of a thriving business - we want to hear from you.
Why Join Us?
• Great Place to Work® Certified: Join a team that values its people.
• Autonomy and Trust: Take ownership of your role with a supportive business owner who values your initiative and trusts your expertise.
• Variety and Challenge: Enjoy a dynamic role spanning operations, client services, caregiver leadership, and problem-solving.
• Meaningful Work: Help seniors receive compassionate care at home while serving as a primary resource for their families and caregivers.
• Opportunity to Grow: Develop your skills and take on greater responsibility as the business expands.
What You'll Do
Office Operations and Caregiver Management
• Oversee daily office operations, including daily administrative office workflows.
• Lead the HR administration and recruitment pipeline. Coordinate and conduct engaging new hire orientations, oversee caregiver on-boarding paperwork, and implement ongoing training programs to keep our caregiving team highly skilled and compliant.
• Maintain high-level supervision of caregiver schedules to ensure flawless client coverage and calendar stability.
• Build strong caregiver relationships that support engagement, performance, and long-term employee retention.
• Oversee caregiver performance development, track training compliance, publish the caregiver newsletter, and drive team morale through recognition programs (like Caregiver of the Month).
• Identify problems, take initiative, and improve operational efficiency.
Client Services and Relationship Management
• Coordinate client services and caregiver schedules to support reliable, consistent care.
• Serve as a warm, responsive main point of contact for clients, families, and caregivers when they call the office. Navigate changing client needs on the phone, address questions and concerns with compassion, and provide professional follow-through and absolute peace of mind.
• Communicate changing client needs and service updates to appropriate team members and help maintain accurate client information, schedules, and service documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve client satisfaction, strengthen relationships, and support client retention.
Who We're Looking For
The right person is proactive, dependable, resourceful, and energized by responsibility. You are someone who:
• Takes initiative and solves problems independently.
• Is highly organized and manages competing priorities effectively.
• Communicates clearly and builds trust with clients, families, and caregivers.
• Balances compassion with accountability and sound judgment.
• Enjoys helping others succeed and contributes to a positive, collaborative workplace culture.
• Takes responsibility for results and is motivated to learn, improve, and grow.
Being an engaged team member who actively contributes to a positive, supportive workplace culture is essential to success in this organization.
Qualifications
• At least one year of office management, scheduling, healthcare administration, home care, home health, hospice, or related experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize in a changing environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to learn new software quickly and work independently as well as collaboratively.
• Strong work ethic, integrity, initiative, and a positive attitude.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
Home care experience is helpful, but we're open to candidates with transferable experience who demonstrate initiative, strong people skills, and a genuine desire to learn.
