Reliable Temps is searching for Extrusion Operators to join a team on their 2nd and 3rd Shift, in Athol, MA. Job Duties • Strictly adheres to Company and Plant safety policies and procedures. • Break down, clean and set up on all dies and restart extruders with no supervision. • Operate an extrusion line without assistance. • Minimize the amount of set up time for a particular job. • Troubleshoots downstream equipment problems. • Produces parts from more than one material. • Prepares lines for production. • Checks line activity sheets, key dimension sheets and reads shop orders. • Produce parts that meet the quality specification at or above specified rate. • Maintain a high degree of accuracy and quality throughout the entire part run. • Operate two or more lines. • Maintains a clean and orderly work environment. • Trains or assists in the training of other operators. • Manages materials and minimizes waste. • Other duties as assigned. Qualifications/Skills • 1+ years in manufacturing, specifically extrusion machine operation. • High school diploma or equivalent • Ability to work with measuring tools such as tape measure, calipers, etc. • Must be able to communicate in English, both written and verbally. • Focus on safety and quality production • Positive attitude and a willingness to learn Job Type: Full-time Education: • High school or equivalent (Preferred) Experience: • Extrusion Operation: 1 year (Required)
