Local specialized plastics manufacturer in Athol is currently accepting applications for their OVERNIGHT quality inspector role. Quality Inspector Roles: • Demonstrate a strong knowledge and understanding of the processes employed in the extrusion/inspection • process at Pexco. This includes a demonstrated high level of competence in the use of all elements of the • Manufacturing Plans. These include profile and fabrication drawings, work orders, data collection sheets, on-line charting of critical dimensions, color analysis equipment, etc. • Demonstrate a thorough knowledge and understanding of the procedures, instructions and guidelines that control or affect the functions of the Quality Department. • Willingly assist the Shift Supervisors and QA Supervisor who will coordinate daily activities and provide work direction. • Verify that parts manufactured meet customer requirements through work in process and upon final inspection. • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the use of inspection tools, equipment and methods (to be assessed by the Quality Manager and QA Supervisor). • Accurately complete testing, inspection documentation and material certifications as applicable. • Review and assess the statistical charting completed on line (as applicable) for completeness of required elements. • Maintain a neat and orderly work area. • Report to work on time and be at work on a regular basis, as scheduled. • Assist in the training and development of new Quality personnel, and assist Production personnel as needed in the use of specialized inspection equipment. • Perform other accountabilities as apparent or assigned.
