Description of work and responsibilities • Receive and inspect material; verify quantities, identification, packaging condition and delivery documents. • Validate and retain key supporting documents; record receipts and acceptance status in Navy ERP. • Maintain order and shipment files; research delayed deliveries and support transportation, supply and quality discrepancy reports. • Prepare shipment documentation, including DD Form 1149; coordinate pickup, provide shipment status and help resolve misrouted material. • Assist with packaging, labeling, loading, inventory and disposal documentation, including matching material to turn-in records. Minimum Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent • Ability to perform the duties above and use applicable Government systems, SOPs and records controls. • 1+ years of experience in a shipping and receiving role • Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 pounds • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Forklift certification a plus • Experience with inventory management software • Knowledge of shipping regulations and requirements • Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment Additional Requirements • Must possess an active SECRET security clearance COMPANY OVERVIEW DEL REY Systems & Technology, Inc.
