In this role, you’ll coordinate community fundraising events from planning through execution, helping maximize funds raised while ensuring events are well-planned, effectively marketed, and supported. If you’re a creative problem-solver with strong communication skills and a passion for bringing people together for a meaningful cause, we’d love to hear from you! Think you’ve got what it takes? Community Event Planning & Fundraising • Coordinate community fundraising events from planning through execution, with a focus on maximizing funds raised. • Serve as the primary contact for event donors, chairs, and volunteers. • Conduct outreach to secure sponsorships, table purchases, and event participation. • Build relationships with businesses, schools, and community partners to expand fundraising opportunities. • Coordinate vendors, event logistics, marketing, and timelines. • Identify creative ways to reduce costs and secure in-kind donations. Donor Relations & Collaboration • Cultivate and steward relationships with donors, sponsors, and volunteers. • Identify opportunities to engage donors in additional philanthropic giving. • Collaborate with philanthropy colleagues on fundraising strategies, communications, and priority events. Documentation & Budget Management • Maintain accurate donor records, event details, and fundraising activity in the fundraising database. • Monitor event budgets, track expenses, and identify opportunities to maximize net revenue. • Evaluate event results and recommend improvements for future fundraising efforts. • Required: Bachelor’s degree • Preferred: Three years of experience in fundraising, event planning, business, project management, and/or healthcare. • Hybrid work arrangement, with an expectation of working in the office two days per week. • Travel to Austin and potentially The Woodlands to support community events, meet with donors and partners, and assist with event execution as needed.
