The cleaning specialist will be responsible for performing routine cleaning tasks and ensuring a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment. This position requires a strong attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Roles & Responsibilities: • Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in all designated areas, including hallways, offices, restrooms, and common spaces. • Dust and wipe down furniture, fixtures, windowsills, and baseboards. • Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and replenishing supplies (soap, toilet paper, paper towels). • Empty trash bins and ensure proper disposal of waste. • Clean and sanitize high-touch surfaces, such as doorknobs, light switches, and handrails. • Replenish cleaning supplies as necessary and report inventory levels to supervisor. • Follow safety protocols while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment. • Ensure that all areas are free of debris and maintain a tidy, organized work environment. • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management. • Perform occasional deep cleaning tasks as assigned. • Adhere to company policies and procedures and contribute to a positive team environment. Education & Experience Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent • Previous experience in janitorial or custodial work preferred, but not required. • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures.
