Our culinary approach celebrates Appalachian ingredients, local farms, and seasonal flavors, combining regional traditions with modern techniques and thoughtful presentation. THE ROLE We are seeking warm, personable, and hospitality-driven Restaurant Hosts to create exceptional first and lasting impressions for our guests. This guest-facing position is responsible for welcoming guests, managing reservations and seating, coordinating dining room flow, and supporting a seamless restaurant experience. The ideal candidate is friendly, organized, and attentive to detail, with a genuine passion for hospitality, teamwork, and making every guest feel valued. WHAT YOU'LL DO Guest Experience & Hospitality • Welcome guests with warmth, professionalism, and genuine hospitality. • Create memorable first and final impressions that encourage guests to return. • Recognize returning guests and anticipate special requests, celebrations, and preferences. • Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and communicate restaurant information confidently. • Address guest questions and concerns with professionalism and care. Reservations & Dining Room Coordination • Manage reservations, walk-ins, waitlists, and seating arrangements. • Coordinate seating to support guest preferences, server sections, and efficient service flow. • Monitor table availability, dining room pacing, and wait times. • Communicate guest needs and special requests to servers, culinary teams, and restaurant leadership. • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming entrance and host area. Teamwork & Service Excellence • Develop knowledge of menu offerings, ingredients, and the overall dining experience. • Collaborate with front-of-house and culinary teams to ensure seamless guest service. • Participate in training, menu tastings, and ongoing hospitality education. • Maintain high standards of professionalism, presentation, and guest care. REQUIREMENTS • Previous experience in restaurants, hotels, retail, guest services, or hospitality preferred. • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. • Ability to manage reservations, guest requests, and dining room coordination. • Experience in upscale dining, farm-to-table, or chef-driven restaurants is a plus but not required. • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require. • Ability to stand and remain active throughout shifts.
