Summary/Objective Campground Attendants are responsible for maintaining superior levels of cleanliness of the properties at the campground. This includes performing general cleaning and sanitizing tasks and services throughout the assigned property to trained standards. This position is responsible not only for general cleanliness and organization of the campground, but also for light maintenance duties. Duties/Responsibilities • Clean and sanitize areas throughout the campground to a high level of quality for guests. • Assist in maintaining and cleaning all TRMF cabins, bathhouses, and laundry at the Medora Campground. • Clean and disinfect bathrooms with proper chemicals, wipe and dust surfaces in rooms, vacuum and clean floors and rugs, clean furniture and drapes, empty trash containers. • Remove linens, towels, bedspreads, and blankets and replace fresh linens before guest arrives. Stock bathroom with necessary towels. • Perform light maintenance duties including weed whacking, sewer drain repair, and water hose repair. • Greet guests and give each excellent customer service. • Participate in workplace safety meetings. • Promote sales of events and services by providing all guests with enthusiastic and accurate information for these offerings. • Interact and maintain positive relationships with guests, co-workers, and management consistent with TRMF values. • Perform other related duties as required. Supervisory Responsibilities - None Requirements Required Skills/Abilities • Excellent verbal communication skills. • Reliable, on time, and ready for every shift. • Provide outstanding guest service. Required Education and Experience • Must give exceptional service to all guests. • Must be able to troubleshoot and create solutions if needed. • Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred. • Must be able to work in outdoor environments. • Must be fluent in English, bilingual a plus. Work Environment This position is an outdoor position which involves working in various weather elements. Outdoor conditions may be in a hotter or colder climate, especially at the Medora Musical.
