Job Description: Responsibilities • Receive and respond promptly to driver breakdown calls or alerts. • Assess repair needs and determine appropriate repair solutions (roadside service, tow, in-house shop). • Dispatch roadside service providers or tow trucks when needed. • Coordinate with drivers to ensure safety at breakdown locations. • Maintain a network of approved roadside repair vendors and shops. • Evaluate repair rates and monitor service quality. • Verify vendor invoices for accuracy before payment approval. • Keep drivers, dispatchers, and operations team informed of repair status and ETAs. • Document all breakdown incidents in maintenance management systems. • Track repair timelines and follow up on parts orders and service delays. • Monitor repair expenses to stay within budget. • Minimize truck and trailer downtimes to protect load schedules and customer commitments.
