Learn more about ET&P Your work profile We are looking for an experienced SAP Project Systems (PS) Manager with 9–11 years of SAP experience and strong expertise in SAP PS implementation, configuration, integration, and support. The candidate will be responsible for leading SAP PS solutions, managing stakeholders, driving project delivery, and ensuring successful integration with other SAP modules. Required Skills • Lead SAP PS implementation, rollout, transformation, enhancement, and support projects. • Own the end-to-end SAP PS solution and provide functional leadership to the team. • Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable SAP PS solutions. • Configure and support Project Definition, WBS, Networks, Activities, Milestones, and Project Planning. • Work on Project Cost Planning, Budgeting, Availability Control, Commitments, Actual Costs, and Settlement. • Configure Results Analysis, Project Stock, Material Requirements Planning, and Project Procurement where applicable. • Manage project execution processes including procurement, goods movements, confirmations, billing, and settlement. • Configure and support Project System integration with FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, PM, and HR. • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand project management and financial requirements. • Lead SIT, UAT, cutover, go-live, hypercare, and production support activities. • Drive defect analysis, root-cause analysis, and resolution of critical production issues. • Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with ABAP/technical teams for enhancements and integrations. • Review solution designs, configuration, test scenarios, and functional documentation. • Manage offshore/onshore teams and provide technical/functional guidance to consultants. • Conduct workshops, requirement-gathering sessions, solution demonstrations, and knowledge-transfer sessions. • Support project estimation, planning, risk identification, and delivery tracking. • Ensure adherence to SAP implementation methodology, quality standards, and project timelines. • Act as a key liaison between business users, SAP functional teams, technical teams, and project leadership. Key Skills required • Bachelor's or master’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. • 9–11 years of SAP experience with strong hands-on experience in SAP PS. • Strong understanding of end-to-end Project Systems business processes. • Hands-on experience in: • Project Definitions • WBS Elements • Networks and Activities • Milestones • Project Planning • Cost Planning • Budgeting • Availability Control • Actual Cost & Commitment Management • Settlement • Results Analysis • Project Procurement • Project Stock • Project Billing • Strong experience in SAP PS configuration and customization. • Good knowledge of integration with FI/CO, MM, SD, PP and PM. • Strong understanding of master data, organizational structures, controlling areas, company codes, plants, and project structures. • Experience with S/4HANA Project System is preferred. • Good understanding of SAP PS integration with SAP Fiori/S/4HANA is an advantage. • Experience leading SAP PS functional teams and coordinating with cross-functional teams. • Strong client-facing and stakeholder-management skills. • Ability to conduct workshops and communicate complex SAP processes to business users. • Experience managing project deliverables, timelines, risks, and dependencies. • Ability to mentor and guide junior consultants. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. • Experience in end-to-end SAP PS implementation or global rollout projects. • Strong experience in SAP S/4HANA transformation projects. • Exposure to SAP Activate methodology. • Experience with SAP Fiori and S/4HANA innovations. • Knowledge of SAP CO-PS integration and project accounting. • Experience in construction, engineering, manufacturing, EPC, infrastructure, or professional-services industries is an advantage. • SAP PS certification is an added advantage. • Strong SAP PS functional expertise • SAP S/4HANA knowledge • Project accounting and controlling knowledge • Cross-module integration expertise • Team leadership and delivery management • Client and stakeholder management • Strong communication and presentation skills • Analytical and problem-solving abilities • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver within timelines
