What You'll Experience As a Summer 2027 intern, you will have the opportunity to: • Apply classroom knowledge to real-world engineering, technical, and operational challenges. • Support projects related to vessel construction, engineering, technology, planning, safety, or project execution. • Work alongside engineers, project managers, technical professionals, and shipyard operations teams. • Gain exposure to the shipbuilding process and understand how multiple technical disciplines work together to construct a vessel. • Participate in cross-functional projects and collaborate with departments throughout the shipyard. • Develop technical and professional skills through hands-on assignments and structured development opportunities. • Build relationships with fellow interns, employees, managers, and company leaders. • Participate in networking, professional development, and intern program activities throughout the summer. • Explore potential career paths within engineering, technology, project management, and shipbuilding. Minimum Qualifications Candidates must: • Be currently pursuing an Associate's or Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a field related to the internship area of interest. • Have an anticipated graduation date of 2030 or earlier. • Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. • Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship. Employment visa sponsorship is not available for this internship program. • Be able to work full-time for the duration of the Summer 2027 Internship Program. • Demonstrate strong analytical, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. • Be comfortable working in both office and active shipyard/industrial environments as required by the internship assignment.
