Candidates must have reliable transportation to get to and from one or more locations. Duties - Perform industrial and commercial cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces - Clean and maintain restrooms, including replenishing supplies - Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly - Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces - Maintain cleanliness of common areas, such as hallways, lobbies, and break rooms - Perform floor care duties, including vacuuming, carpet cleaning, and floor buffing - Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed - Follow all Sparkle Freshness safety protocols and guidelines Skills To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills: - Previous experience in industrial or commercial cleaning is preferred - Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision - Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively - Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required - Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of duties Qualification -At least 18 years of age -Must be able to work independently or with minimal supervision Experience -1 year with the job title: Cleaner, Janitorial, or Custodian -Recent commercial cleaning experience is preferred -Strong English communication skills, both oral and written Apply now and discover the endless possibilities for your future with Sparkle Freshness! Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour Expected hours: 15-20 per week, with an opportunity for up to 30 hours based on company needs. Additional hours may be available when covering other locations, generally within 30 minutes of the primary location. Work Hours: Please be advised that the shift start times for the position are approximately 5:30 pm to 1:30 am, 4 to 6 hours per night. The exact shift start time and duration will depend on the size of the location and the frequency of cleaning required. Physical Demands: The Cleaning Specialist position is physically demanding and requires the routine performance of tasks including, but not limited to: Extended periods of standing, walking, and physical exertion. Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting, and reaching overhead or low to the ground. Lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling equipment, trash, and cleaning supplies weighing up to 35 lbs.Repetitive motion of arms, wrists, and hands associated with standard cleaning functions (scrubbing, mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming).
