Responsibilities: • Other duties may be assigned. • Maintain schedules of all employees on assigned shift. • Keep track of the inventory and order supplies as needed. • Handle guest complaints in a professional manner. • Monitor guests to determine their level of intoxication. • Offer coffee or water if they feel that it is necessary. • Motivate employees to be team players. • Evaluate employees based on job performance. Competencies: • Manages subordinate supervisors who supervise employees in the Beverage Department. • Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this unit. • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. • Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Work Environment: • The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions. • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. • Must be able to work in a smoking environment.
